Martin Elster

Martin Elster studied composition with Arnold Franchetti and studied percussion with Alexander Lepak at the Hartt College of Music - University of Hartford. He performs with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, the Connecticut Opera Association Orchestra, the Latin American folk music group "Tequila" and is also active as a solo recitalist. He teaches percussion at the Hartford Camerata Conservatory of Music and Dance, and is co-artistic director of the Studio of Electronic Music Inc., in Simsbury, Connecticut.
