Gordon Stout (b.1952) is currently Professor of Percussion at the School of Music, Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., where he has taught percussion since 1980.

“The title is basically ‘reflections on things from the past.’ That doesn’t really have much to do with the musical composition itself,” Gordon has said. “But it was just a title that I arrived at.” Quondam Reflections is a tonal, multi-textural and multi-sectional work.
