Benedikt Hinger

Benedikt Hinger was born 1991 in Reutlingen, Germany. At the age of eight, he began his first piano and percussion lessons, initially at the Reutlingen School of Music and later privately at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Following successes in the “Jugend musiziert” competition and various performances as a soloist and orchestral musician in the region (including as a soloist with the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen), he began studying music education with a focus on percussion at the State University of Music Trossingen under Michael Lang in 2011, graduating in 2016. After studying mathematics at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Benedikt is currently working as a teacher of mathematics and music in Reutlingen. He is also active as a freelance musician and choir conductor.
