The arrangement Bob Becker made for NEXUS which has caught the attention of audiences and percussionists around the world and created a whole new fascination with the xylophone as a solo instrument. The accompaniments require four players performing on a minimum of two marimbas.

White Pines was inspired by the energy, crispness and majesty of these snow-covered trees in the winter months near my home in New York. It is scored for solo marimba with both keyboard and battery percussion.
White Pines is originally the 2nd movement to a larger 3 movement work titled Home and is dedicated to and commissioned by the internationally renowned percussion group Nexus.

Great novelty piece! Audiences go wild over the Lone Ranger theme, played by a tin can quartet!

Pronounced “shpoo-ha”, this work is a very aggressive, rhythmic, drumming ensemble for 4 percussionists. At times played barbarically and savagely, Xpu-Ha Experiment is written in the form of a tribal dance. It will undoubtedly prove to be a very intense 7-minute experience for the players and audience alike.

“Green’s unique bluesy style is evident in this fun, challenging xylophone solo. The marimba accompaniment is equally challenging (if not more so) and requires a player who is comfortable with large leaps in the bass line while playing busy syncopated patterns in the right hand.”-Percussive Notes
