Ron Fink

Ron Fink holds a master's and bachelor's in music from the University of Illinois. Fink studied with Paul Price, Jack McKenzie and Al Payson while at Illinois.

Formerly published under the title “Timpani Tuning & Etudes,” this book by Ron Fink has been renamed for publication by Studio 4 Music. These etudes do challenge the advancing timpanist’s tuning skills, but they include so much more – rhythmic, technical, and above all, musical challenges. We predict that college-level teachers will soon find this book indispensable. Included are two solo pieces that are suitable for juries or recitals.
