Three Songs for Voice and Marimba is a setting of poems by three different authors: We Wear the Mask by Paul Laurence Dunbar, A Litany by Phineas Fletcher, and Lead Kindly Light by John H. Newman. This piece received 3rd prize in the 2008 Percussive Arts Society International Composition Competition.

Meet Tracy Thomas

Tracy Thomas is a composer/ percussionist/ music adjudicator based out of Troy, Mo. Since 2004 he has been on the music faculty at Missouri Western State University and is also currently a band director in Troy, MO.
