In three movements, ‘Jig’, ‘Ballad’, and ‘Country Dance’, the ‘Suite’ is definitely “listener-friendly” and should prove to be a popular addition to the marimba duet repertoire.

The metal quartet includes cowbells and a frying pan, the bead quartet is scored for maracas and shekere, and the wood quartet features two pairs of claves, a woodblock and a temple block.
